Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
Remote ReadHER ("we", "us") runs remotereadher.com, a UK job board and CV review service. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect, and why
- Waitlist and CV review sign-ups: your name, email address, and the documents you choose to share (your CV, cover letter, and the job description you are applying to). We use these solely to carry out your review and reply to you.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, used to send you the weekly jobs email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Contact and advertising enquiries: your name, email address, company (if given), and your message, used only to respond to you.
We do not run advertising trackers, and the website itself does not set cookies. We never sell your information.
Our legal basis
We process your information on the basis of consent (you chose to submit it) and legitimate interest (responding to messages you send us). You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Who handles your data for us
Like most websites, we use a small number of trusted services to operate. Your information may pass through: Tally (waitlist form), Beehiiv (newsletter), FormSubmit (contact form delivery), Vercel (website hosting), and Notion (content management). Each processes data under its own privacy policy and appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
CVs and cover letters are kept only as long as needed to complete your review, and deleted on request at any time. Email addresses stay on the newsletter list until you unsubscribe. Enquiry emails are kept for up to two years so we have context if you contact us again.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. To use any of these rights, email loveleenokereke@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date.
